Carnival Cruises and “Frightfully Fun” hardly seem like they would go together, but in their newest promotion, Carnival Cruises is teaming up with Coca Cola and M&M’S® to entertain guests sailing with Carnival with a variety of fun-filled activities, everything from costume contests, some fabulous Halloween-themed giveaways, scary movies, and, of course, trick or treating for candies and other goodies from M&M’S®. Every year Carnival manages to conjure up something new for Halloween, and this year promises to be fun for young and old.

The “Frightfully Fun” promotion will be held on all Carnival voyages departing between Oct. 13 and 30, 2007. Guests should bring their costumes and accessories, and can compete for a variety of prizes during the always-interesting costume contest and parade. To add to the festivities, Carnival crew members will be dressed in costume, as well, and guests can have their photos taken with Carnival’s own “Fun Ship” Freddy. For the younger guests ages one to 14, invitations are there to go trick or treating along the ships’ promenades and through various public rooms and areas, stocking up on M&M’S® signature candies, including MILKY WAY®, SNICKERS®, SKITTLES®, STARBURST® and TWIX®, all along the way.

Lauderdale, Carnival Freedom from Rome, Carnival Pride from Long Beach, Carnival Spirit from Long Beach, and the Carnival Destiny from San Juan. Carnival Miracle is sailing the 8 nighter from Ft. Lauderdale.
