Amadeus Waterways Offers Special for AARP Members

AARP Services Inc. and Amadeus Waterways, the well-known river sightseeing cruise operator, today announced a preferred provider relationship that will enable AARP’s 39 million members to take luxury cruises through Europe, Russia and Egypt at a discount. Under the agreement, AARP members will receive a $100 per person discount on an Amadeus Waterways cruise. Members also will be eligible for additional exclusive offers on certain trips. This special can also be used in conjunction with other specials offered by well known agencies who partner with Amadeus Waterways, like Destination Oceans in Portland, Maine.

Amadeus Waterways offers multi-day tours on new ships along some of Europe’s most fabled waterways, including the Danube and the Rhine. They also provide a trip in Egypt along the Nile, Southern France on the Rhône and Portugal on the Douro River. Daily shore excursions are integral to the cruises. Gourmet meals are provided, with complimentary local wines and fine evening musical performances. Hotel-style amenities are featured in the comfortable staterooms.

AARP members will need to provide their membership number at the time of booking to receive their $100 per person discount. The discount is applicable to cruises purchased on or after October 24, 2007. Remember, the $100 discount can be used in addition to their already everyday low prices on river cruises.
