Royal Caribbean International continues to closely monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Fay to ensure guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm.
The safety of our guests and crew members is always our foremost concern.
Given Tropical Storm Fay’s location and projected path, Royal Caribbean is altering the itineraries of two ships and is providing the following guidance.
Ships sailing from Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale)
Enchantment of the Seas will depart Port Everglades Monday, August 18, as scheduled, and will sail a modified itinerary. The ship will not visit Key West, Florida, Tuesday. Instead, the ship will spend Tuesday at sea, sailing directly to Cozumel, Mexico, arriving there Wednesday, as scheduled. The rest of the itinerary will remain unchanged. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the port and be in the boarding process between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Ships sailing from Port Canaveral
Sovereign of the Seas will depart Port Canaveral Monday, August 18, as scheduled, and will sail a modified itinerary. The ship will reverse the order of its scheduled ports of call, remain at sea Tuesday, visiting Nassau, Bahamas, Wednesday and Coco Cay, Bahamas, Thursday. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the port and be in the boarding process between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Ships sailing from the Port of Miami
Majesty of the Seas will depart the Port of Miami Monday, August 18, as scheduled, and will sail its scheduled itinerary. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the port and be in the boarding process between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being adversely impacted by tropical weather. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
