Today I lost A Friend
My closest friends know me as a dog lover (I had 6 this morning), and also know that my oldest golden Tazzie, has been with me since 1994. It is with extreme sorrow in my heart, and many tears over the last few days, that I laid my friend of 16 years to rest today. Tazzie became overrun with a myriad of health problems over the last few months, but many times during that period, he would bounce back to his old self as if to say, “Relax my friend, I’m not ready to leave yet!” Today it became evident that the bounce was gone forever.
I will miss him, and all the amusement he brought me over the last 16 years. He never complained, always had a smile, and always brought me solace when he knew something was wrong with me. If you’ve ever owned a dog for a long time, you know what I mean. If not, I suggest you get one and experience one of life’s better pleasures. I know I will miss the ones he brought me.
I love you Little Man, and am truly sorry you are gone from my life.

Hi, Gregg,
I’m in Rio, Brazil and i’ve just read your post about your loss. I’m so sorry to hear that, specially because I also have 3 canine friends and I just can’t even think about the fact that one day they will be gone.
A sympathetic hug,
Flavio
