Kids Wish Network is a national charity that grants wishes to children. Recently, we granted a wish for a 13-year-old girl named Kasi. She had an amazing time on her wish. Read on to hear her story.

Kasi suffers from congenital heart disease and scoliosis. She has had multiple surgeries in her short life, including reconstructive heart surgery and a procedure that implanted rods in her back. Needless to say, Kasi was in need of a fun time away from doctors and surgeries.

When Kasi’s mom was contacted by Kids Wish Network and informed that her daughter would be granted a wish, she was grateful beyond words. Kasi chose a cruise for her wish and was soon sailing the seas aboard the Carnival Imagination.

Kasi was extremely pleased with the cruise and how she was treated. When the captain found out she was from Kids Wish Network, the day’s excursion was upgraded to the Atlantis adventure. Being from Michigan, Kasi’s mom said that her daughter loved being in the warm weather, experiencing Atlantis and soaking up the sun on the decks.

For Kasi, the best part was being away from doctors and having a few days to just be a kid. The whole family was so pleased with the ship, the staff and the whole experience that was created by Carnival and Kids Wish Network.
