Carnival Cruise Line’s Sensation Getting Additional Balconies

Carnival Cruise Lines is gambling that cruise travelers will spend the extra dollars required to get a balcony stateroom on their next cruise. In an effort to increase yields, Carnival will add balconies to 98 existing staterooms aboard the 2,052-passenger Carnival Sensation during a 35-day scheduled dry dock taking place in January 2009.
